By using Royal Stay you agree to these terms. Royal Stay provides a marketplace and management platform connecting guests with verified hotels across Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account. Hotels must provide accurate business details and comply with local licensing requirements.
Bookings and commission
- Listing on Royal Stay is free. There are no monthly subscription fees for the Boutique and Resort tiers.
- Royal Stay charges a 10% commission on the total value of each successful, non-cancelled booking.
- Guest payments are collected through Chapa, Telebirr, or CBE Birr and settled to the hotel less the commission.
Guest conduct
Guests must respect the hotel's house rules, check-in and check-out times, and any deposit or ID requirements. Damage to the property is a matter between the guest and the hotel.
Hotel obligations
Hotels must honour confirmed bookings, keep availability accurate, and provide the room and amenities advertised on their public page.
Liability
Royal Stay facilitates the booking but is not the operator of the hotel. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the commission we received on the affected booking.
Changes
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email and in the dashboard.
